We are four people in our 20s and 30s starting a new collective in the Prospect Heights area starting September 1st. We're looking for people (couples welcome) who are excited to build a new collective.
Some of the big picture stuff: we value a strong sense of community as well as independence, consensus building, and queer/trans/POC inclusivity. We’re thinking we’d have at least one communal meal per week, but because it's a new collective, we don't exactly know what the "small" stuff would look like--how we'd split private and communal food, or how often people would make house meals. So we’re not looking for people who are super set on details—we’re looking for people who have similar values, are flexible, and would be excited to build something from the ground up. Rooms will likely be $1000-$1400 depending on size.
