Hey- does anyone have a link to the updated guidelines? Is the minimum effort at WLS prior to surgery 1 or 2 unsuccessful efforts?

Thanks,
Ilana

If there are new guidelines regarding that I am unaware of them. My understanding is that they are trying to get rid of the "attempted" weight loss prior to surgery as there is more and more evidence of bariatric surgery being a treatment for other health conditions, including diabetes. If there are updated guidelines I must have missed them somehow, so please forward along to me too!

Thank you
