Northside Psychology is excited to announce that we are accepting applications for a part-time NYS Licensed Clinical Psychologist to join our thriving group practice.
We are a private practice group specializing in bariatric surgery psychological evaluations.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is interested in a career in bariatric psychology. The role primarily consists of conducting psychological evaluations for patients seeking bariatric surgery. In addition to an initial evaluation patients may need pre and/or post-surgical psychotherapy.
Our practice is growing rapidly and although we are only in need a part-time psychologist at this time this may increase to full-time in the future. All work is remote at this time.
Our mission is to continually improve the accuracy and utility of psychological evaluations for bariatric surgery patients. Similarly, we want to develop effective, evidence based, pre-surgical treatment protocols to prepare patients for surgery and post-surgical treatment protocols to address post-surgical psychosocial complications.
