Title : Java Software Developer
Location : Farmington Hills, MI
Duration : 6+ Months
Pay Rate : $Negotiable

Job Responsibilities:
• Modify existing application code or interfaces or build new application components from detailed requirements.
• Analysis of requirements, support of the design, development of the code, testing, debugging, deployment, and maintenance of those programs and interfaces. Documentation of the work is essential
• Participation in most aspects of programming and application development, including file design, update, storage, and retrieval
• Ability to maintain the developed solution on an on-going basis is essential
• Formulate concepts, define system scope and technical objectives based on user needs (requires very good written and verbal communication skills, ability to easily grasp business concepts, and possesses skills to build a vision)
• Enhance processes to resolve operational problems and add new functions taking into consideration schedule, resource constraints, process complexity, dependencies, assumptions and application structure
• Candidate is required to follow the existing development methodology and coding standards, and ensure compliance with the internal and external regulatory requirements
• May guide various groups on application systems activities
• Work under general directions; typically reports to a team lead or supervisor/manager

Skills Required:
8+ years of IT experience in Analyze, Design, Implement and integrate solutions for Internet-based systems and websites using Java\J2EE in Agile Environment.
Integrate the systesm with API's.

Must Have
• Proficient in Apigee - API development, Policy development, Cassandra, Zookeeper, node or reactive java, nginx server
• Proficient in Web Services (SOAP and Restful), XML, XML JSON processing API's, Micro Services
• Proficient in Micro gateway, Apigee edge technologies
• Experience in document and Maintain REST API designs in Swagger, YMAL and RMAL
• Proficient in oauth2 or token based security
• Proficient in node.js development, Apigee micro gateway, edge
• Proficient in Core Java, J2EE, Spring, JPA, Hibernate (ORM)
• Proficient in ESB integration layer technologies

Good To Have
• Experience in Web Technologies like JavaScript, HTML/HTML5, CSS, AJAX, JQuery
• Experience on Angular 2 and Bootstrap adds value.
• Knowledge and Understanding on Java 8 and Multithreading
• Experience in Test Driven Development and Agile Methodology
• Experience on Node, NPM, Typescript, SCSS
• Utilize source control systems like GIT or SVN
• Conduct performance testing and optimization
• Knowledge on Apache Kafka, Rabbit MQ, NoSQL - Reddis, Mongo add values
• Experience in JUNIT and Log4j
