Description: This group is developing and supporting application security solutions in the areas of authentication and entitlements. Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance of existing security products and infrastructure
Develop new components in authentication and authorization space.
Support application developers using Security Engineering solutions.
Must Have Skills/Experience:
6+ years work experience in IT industry
4+ years of Java development with solid knowledge and experience of core Java concepts like multithreading, I/O, collections, etc.
J2EE only candidates are NOT going to be considered
Solid understanding of software development lifecycle include build, version control, and software testing methodologies
Relational database experience preferably with Sybase and/or UDB.
Working knowledge of Unix environment and commands.
Unix Shell scripting using one of the general purpose scripting languages – perl, bourne shell, python, etc.
Nice To Have Skills/Experience:
C/C++ language knowledge
Any development of security software especially authorization/entitlements systems.
Web application development especially in Java and knowledge of Apache, Tomcat is a plus
Knowledge of security domain in any of the following concepts/technologies is a strong plus: Kerberos, SSL, Crypto, Single Sing On, Authorization, Active Directory Authentication, PKI, and Identity Federation, SAML Products.
Knowledge of Windows platform technologies and development experience a strong plus including .Net, C#, IIS technologies.
Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
Ability to work in a flexible environment and adapt to changing requirements and priorities NZ
