Hello all,
First, I wanted to thank you all for encouraging the development of
core technology companies in New York.

I am one of the heads of the nyc python group (http://nycpython.org),
and am in contact with the heads of the several other technology-
specific groups. I'm creating a list that is focused on the needs of
these groups - finding meeting spaces, outreach techniques, improving
the environment for networking, linking up companies with potential
employees, and so on. The space problem is an especially difficult
one for tech groups in nyc to solve on their own at first (ideal
spaces have wireless access) - I hope to provide a clearinghouse for
such information.

It was in the process of creating that list that I found _this_ list,
and I felt I had to write and offer my support. If there's an
announcement that you need spread to these technology-focused groups I
will be happy to do so. If there's any other way I can be of
assistance I am at your service.
