Hello everyone! July's salon is coming up soon. Info on date and time are below, as are new instructions for musicians and visual artists who would like to show/play at the salon. At the bottom is a message from the IAF president regarding a survey the board is doing to help steer the future direction of the foundation. Speak your mind!

July Salon Date and Locale

The Vagabond Café @ 7 Cornelia Street, Tuesday July 24, 7pm to 10pm - feel free to arrive at any time.

Should I Bring Anything?

Calling cards, business cards, postcards, CDs or other things you can hand people to remind them that they met you and where they can find your work. Also, please bring friends.

Could I, Should I Bring My Work?

Absolutely. Please bring examples of your artistic endeavors including portfolios, printed material, and digital show and tell.

Musicians: We would love to play your music during the salon. If you'd like us to do so, please contact K. Tempest Bradford (ktempest...@gmail.com) for access to a shared folder where you can upload your songs.

Visual artists: If you want us to include your art in a slideshow playing on a big screen, please contact K. Tempest Bradford ( ktempest...@gmail.com ) for access to a shared folder where you can upload your art.

Who Are The Hosts?

The Interstitial Arts Foundation is a not–for–profit organization dedicated to the study, support, and promotion of interstitial art: literature, music, visual and performance art found in between categories and genres — art that crosses borders.

IAF members will wear Host badges, so if you have any questions about the salon or the organization or you just need someone to safely begin a conversation with, you can find us easily.

What If I Can't Make It This Time?

No worries! We'll be hosting a salon every month on the 4th Tuesday, usually at Vagabond.

Hello all!

Over the next several weeks, the IAF Board will be asking questions of our supporters to better understand how we can promote the interstitial arts and meet the needs of artists and enthusiasts. Please take just 30 seconds right now to go onto our Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/groups/7703982714/) and answer question number 1. While you're there, please "like" the survey post to help keep it high on the IAF page.

We look forward to hearing what you think the next steps of the IAF should be.

Best,

Larissa Niec
President, IAF Board
