Dear Scrap,

Thank you for going to such trouble to keep the group alive, and to all, my apologies for not getting there. I''ve been ill lately but should be able to make it to the next meeting (God willing).

Dear K dialogue group members,

Due to the season change, the loudness of the skylight diner has
become an impairment to effective dialogue. I work in the Library at
the School of the International Center of Photography and can offer a
quiet public space for dialogue if we change to the 2nd Wednesday of
the month. For May that would be May 12.

Unfortunately, I am unable to see currently due to a worsening of my
extreme near-sightedness. The only appointment I was able to secure is
May 12 at 6 pm. Fortunately, the clinic is next door to the ICP
Library location. However, in this case, we would have to meet at 8
instead of 7:30 because the exam will take at least 90 minutes.
Because the Library will otherwise be closed, I have to be sure to be
there first to let us in.

The ICP Library is located under the Grace Plaza at 43rd and 6th
(Southeast corner; catty-corner from the ICP museum). Grace Plaza is
due to be under construction for several months beginning next week.
Entrance to the ICP school is via a glass pavillion on the street side
corner of the Plaza. Pending scaffolding and plywood, the ICP School
entry should be clearly marked. There is a security guard at the top
of the pavillion stairs where you will be asked to sign in. You can
say that you are meeting Courtney in the Library, and (by 8) I should
be available via x171.

So MAY 12 K Dialogue, 8 pm,
School of ICP, Library
1114 Ave Americas, Concourse Level
212-857-0071

See you then,
scrap

I hope you’re feeling better, Andrew.
I look forward to seeing you next time if you can make it.
Your input was missed.

Hey Andrew,

Hope you're OK. We had an interesting dialog, missed you being there. The new spot is lots more quiet! Again hope you're well.

We missed you Andrew. I hope you have the time and blessings to be recovering now.

The next dialogue is slated for June 9, but June 16 would be much better for me. I will send out another email in a week or so.

best,

I’m hoping to go to an Eckhart Tolle meetup on the 16th. (To which you’re all invited, by the way--
he’s fantastic, and Krishnamurti was his main inspiration.)
I don’t see how I could choose between K and T.
How about June 23?

We could try for the 23rd because I hate to cancel June. The 9th has turned out to be a horror because I am trying to wrap up the webdev job that has been killing me for over a year and that day is the only day they can do the final training/transfer. Sorry for being inconsistent!

Scrap: It’s nice to know the group meets at a consistent time, but when we need to change the date,
especially long in advance, it’s no problem at all!
The 23rd is good for me, too, of course, since it was my suggestion.

I am REALLY sorry, but I completely forgot that I will be away the week of June 23rd—the day I had suggested we meet.
So I guess I will see you in July.
Embarrassed and disappointed,
Ron

Great, I too look forward to June 23. Ron, we will miss you but hope to return to 2nd wednesday in July (14).  On a personal note, I had my first reiki experience and felt like something as large as an egg was being pulled from my throat. We'll see where that brings my dialoguing with my recent k insights-- both on being present and the shadow world of the unconscious mind. See you in 2 weeks,
cw

Hi Andrew,
I’ve regretted not having you at our K meetups, because you made positive contributions
to both the content and atmosphere of the group.
I hope you can make it to some future meeting.
Best regards,

Ron

Oops—I did it again! (I thought I was sending this to Andrew only.)
Sorry.
