Dear K dialogue group members,
Due to the season change, the loudness of the skylight diner has
become an impairment to effective dialogue. I work in the Library at
the School of the International Center of Photography and can offer a
quiet public space for dialogue if we change to the 2nd Wednesday of
the month. For May that would be May 12.
Unfortunately, I am unable to see currently due to a worsening of my
extreme near-sightedness. The only appointment I was able to secure is
May 12 at 6 pm. Fortunately, the clinic is next door to the ICP
Library location. However, in this case, we would have to meet at 8
instead of 7:30 because the exam will take at least 90 minutes.
Because the Library will otherwise be closed, I have to be sure to be
there first to let us in.
The ICP Library is located under the Grace Plaza at 43rd and 6th
(Southeast corner; catty-corner from the ICP museum). Grace Plaza is
due to be under construction for several months beginning next week.
Entrance to the ICP school is via a glass pavillion on the street side
corner of the Plaza. Pending scaffolding and plywood, the ICP School
entry should be clearly marked. There is a security guard at the top
of the pavillion stairs where you will be asked to sign in. You can
say that you are meeting Courtney in the Library, and (by 8) I should
be available via x171.
So MAY 12 K Dialogue, 8 pm,
School of ICP, Library

See you then,
