Where is pagecurl buried?

I know you can use a pagecurl effect to transition between images or
layers but I cannot find the darn thing! In the apple docs it is
listed as a CIFilter from a CATransition which is supposed to be under
QuartzCore but I have been unable to find it. Anyone written
something for the iPhone that uses the pagecurl effect?
I also noticed that the accelerometer example vanished from the demos
page : (
