Last Electric Compost Trommel Build Day - Sat June 3

Hello Community Composters,

LES Ecology Center and East New York Farms! are co-hosting a compost workday at 620 Schenck Ave. Brooklyn, NY 11207 this Saturday, June 3rd from 11am to 2pm. Among the planned activities is the completion of the electric compost trommel. 

Through our Compost Systems Build Program, we selected East New York Farms! as the recipient of the electric compost trommel. Led by Bruno Navarro of NexusBaus, the build out has consisted of welding, electric and mesh wiring, and carpentry work. 

Curious community composter are welcome to stop by to support the build out. Register via bit.ly/ENYF-MC-June2023. 

Come through for the action and photo ops!

This workday will count towards volunteer credit hours for the Master Composter Certification Course.
