Hope everyone was able to enjoy this brief respite of mild January weather the past week. We're reaching out to share that our seasonal paid listing for an experienced Farmer + Educator for 2026 (March 1 - October 31) is now live! 

Farmer + Educator for the 2026 Season

Earth Matter NY seeks a seasonal Farm Production + Educator Staff to help us move into a new urban farm space, manage crop production and assist with educational groups on our farm. Join our team to facilitate our “Table to Farm” exploration of the nutrient cycle and how compost application benefits the growth of crops. You will work with a wide variety of people including trainees, volunteers, visitors, and Heritage Farmers. You are a teacher, knowledgeable about plants and growing, a community organizer, creative problem solver, detail-oriented person. You can grow food, fix equipment, and manage a group.

Schedule: 32 hr/week from March 1 - October 31

Rate: $27-30/hr based on experience
