Congrats to everyone who received your MC Certificate last night!
I want to invite you all to the Western Queens (& Roosevelt Island) Compost Bike Tour happening THIS Saturday, June 17th from 11am-3:30pm (no rain date)
I want to invite you all to the Western Queens (& Roosevelt Island) Compost Bike Tour happening THIS Saturday, June 17th from 11am-3:30pm (no rain date)
We will start in Woodside at Rusty Wheelbarrow Farm and continue on to visit Woodside Sunnyside Composting (Sunnyside), Astoria Pug, Socrates Park, Haki Compost and Big Reuse’s Queensbridge site.
Participants must bring their own bike. More details in the Eventbright page. With a huge thanks to NYC Council Members Julie Won, Tiffany Caban and Julie Menin.
*Please share with your friends, colleagues or anyone interested in biking and/or composting. We are looking to increase participants.*
There will also be a post ride social (everyone is invited, even if you can't join the ride itself) at Focal Point Brewery (43-50 12th St, Queens, NY 11101) starting at 3:30pm. We will provide some food, everyone will need to purchase their own drinks. Bring all your friends!
I hope many of you can join us for the ride, the social, or both!
