Sunday, September 21 from 1:30 - 2:15pm

Earth Matter Site Tour

Details: Celebrate Climate Week with a tour of our mid-scale composting facility, urban farm, and Compost Learning Center and participate in hands-on activities after the tour! Free. RSVP is closed, but optional! You can drop in for the tour.

Wednesday, September 24 from 4-6pm

Presentation on Reuse Field Testing 

Details: Please join Earth Matter NY with Dr. Samantha MacBride of Baruch College's Marxe School of International and Public Affairs and Dr. Lily Pollans of Hunter College's Urban Policy and Planning program in a discussion of systems approaches to implementing reuse in food service in to-go situations. We will showcase our work field testing how business owners, employees, customers, visitors, and the public at large view reuse, with implications for planning and program delivery. Supported by the NYSP2I grant. This event will take place indoors. RSVP for Field Testing Reuse

Friday, September 26 from 9-12pm

Friday Volunteer Workday *recurring*

Details: Volunteer each Friday to help us with our farm and community composting operations! Tasks look different each week based on what the site needs most and can include turning compost piles, DIY repair projects, signage making, site tidying. Lend a hand! RSVP for Friday Workday.
