Intersted in zero waste events?

Dear Composters,

The Jazz Age Lawn Party on Governors Island is back and Earth Matter NY is helping to facilitate its zero-waste efforts!! We would love your help to educate attendees on how to compost & recycle and ensure that all waste streams are well sorted. You will be able to stay either before or after your shift and enjoy the festivities. No prior knowledge necessary.

The shifts are:

Saturday, June 10th: 9:00 am - 2:15 pm and 1:00 pm - 6:30 pm

Sunday, June 11th:    9:30 am - 2:15 pm and 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Let us know if you are interested. The Jazz Age Lawn Party is a fun event, volunteer with a friend, listen to swing music, people watch, learn about compost & recycling and help make this a zero-waste event.
