Vish. With divine grace and providence, it was tremendous that as a group, we managed to complete the entire mandalam season without missing a beat. The growing crowd of devotees and importantly, their more active participation as witnessed by the chorus singing of Harivarasanam was gratifying. Hat tip to you and saji and to Ravi sivachariar for your efforts to keep the tempo going. Prabha  lead by example and her experience, energy and participation every single week was inspirational. I dont have everybody's emails but pls thank gita and your kids, bhagavadhar radhakrishnan and his family ( special.mention srinidhi), shreya and her parents, vigneshwari and her mom and all the others in your group . Their enthusiastic singing and energy were instrumental in making this season succesful. A hat tip to the strong silent gentleman who diligently and super efficenrly  manages the 18 lamps during the harathi ... i want to finish by mentioning one thing :  i tried to be as fair and objective as possible in giving people a chance to sing. I hope folks appreciate that in doing so, we are trying to optimize across multiple objectives of  quality, ensuring popular songs got sung, ensuring multilingual participation, managing time etc.  If any one felt hurt or treated unfairly, my apologies. No hard feelings, please !   I hope that the hand of God will ensure that in our Flushing tenple, we will keep the rigor of the ayyappa pooja and bhajans going strong for generations to come.  Warmest regards.  Hariharan

Dear Hariharan

Thanks for your encouragement.  You literally summed up our whole Mandalam Season very well.  Yes the crowd is growing and we need to welcome more people to our singing group.   I think our group is doing fine and i dont think anyone has any complaints if we keep giving chance to sing to everyone as we do always.  Like you said, we should keep the tempo going not only during the Mandalam but also our monthly ayyappa pooja.

Let Lord Ayyappa bless us with his choicest blessings and give us this opportunity to do bhajans in our temple.  I feel this year has been fantastic and there are more people than last year.

Warm regards

Vish
