Dear Supporter,
Today is Give OUT Day. Hopefully, you’ve gotten my previous emails telling you all about how this giving day benefits the LGBTQ community. I hope today you’ll take a few short moments to donation to the Common Threads Youth Empowerment Retreat Scholarship Fund. Even $10 helps us provide a once in a lifetime* experience to a lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or ally teen.
It’s simple and easy. Just visit our page to make a donation:

All money goes directly to pay for youth to attend the retreat.- and is tax deductible to the full extent of the law.
Common Threads is a truly amazing program. I consider it an honor to plan it each year- An honor to watch these teens come to the retreat that Friday night each January so excited to be there, and leave on Sunday with a new family and support system. I hear from so many teens and their adults advisors how much impact the weekend retreat has on them. But I don’t need to hear it, you can see it on the face of every participant just how much difference the program makes.
I hope you’ll donate today! Every donor gets us closer to even more funding as we compete for prize money for our program.
Thank you,
J.R. Cehonski, MSW
