Hi All,

 

Just a reminder that the last meeting before we break for the summer will be this coming Tuesday June 11 at 10:00 at RCADD.  Minutes to May's meeting are attached. 

 

I want to thank and congratulate those of you who bought youth to our Youth Forum in May.  It was amazing!  We had about 25 young people in attendance from many parts of the County.  They were very honest and outspoken about the substance abuse issue in the County. And the pizza, which they said was a big draw, was enjoyed by all thanks to the generosity of the Youth Bureau.  At the meeting we will recount some of their comments and determine our next steps with regard to their feedback.

 

Also, as some of you might remember, as Chairpersons for the coalition we have committed to a two year term.  This is the end of Shari's term and she will be stepping down.  So at this meeting we will nominate and vote for Shari's replacement.  I want to take this opportunity to thank Shari for her two years.  It has been my pleasure to work with her this past year.
