Description:
Responsibilities for the Senior Generalist – K-12 include:
- Providing advice and counsel to managers and supervisors regarding HR policies, practices, and employment laws
- Managing and advising on routine and complex employee relations issues
- Participating in coaching, counseling and development meetings to resolve employee related issues
- Coordinating a variety of training and development programs
- Preparing and maintaining employee handbook and policies and procedures manual
- Monitoring online performance management, annual employee feedback and exit interview initiatives
- Ensuring compliance with all state and federal employment regulations
- Creating, coordinating and implementing internal and external employee development programs, including employee orientation
Required Skills:
- 4-8 years of strategic HR experience
- Experience developing and implementing HR initiatives
- Prior generalist with multi-unit experience
- Excellent Excel skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Bachelor’s degree
