For many, the summer feels like its downtime. But we've got our work cut out for us. This summer is an incredible time for us to gain new skills, develop our leadership and plot out our strategy to win a clean energy future.
My name is Brandon Knight, I'm working with Energy Action Coalition and its' partners to help plan Power Shift '09 trainings across the country this summer and fall. I'm from Michigan, where I just witnessed the bankruptcy of our auto industry. On June 1st the county I grew up in lost 6,000 jobs in one day. I'm not going to sit back and let this happen, we have a clean energy economy to build. Who's with me?
If you are ready to launch a massive Power Shift this fall, you need to be at one of our organizing trainings this summer.
