NY Masters – President’s Day Weekend Races

Masters,

We have a big weekend of racing ahead of us with cross-over races at West Mountain (hosted by Mid Atlantic Masters) and Bristol Mountain (hosted by Cleveland Metro Ski Council). We hope you can make it out to one or some combination of the two.

West Mountain (Friday SG, Saturday GS, Sunday SL)
All information for West Mountain can be found on Admin Ski Racing Masters (https://masters.adminskiracing.com/racereg/event_listing/viewevents) sorting by “Mid Atlantic Masters” and scrolling down to “West Mountain NY Events”. Sign up soon, as the registration windows start closing at 4:00 on Wednesday.

Bristol Mountain (Saturday XLGS & GS, Sunday SL)

Cost:
*Paid in Cash to Cleveland Metro the morning of the race at registration*
Race: $35 per day
Tickets: $66 per day

Schedule:
*Please note that we will have wait periods between inspection and racing for all events, as Cleveland Metro racers will be racing before us on the same course*

• Saturday

o 8:00—9:00 Registration in Yurt

o 9:00 – 9:45 Inspection

o 10:00: Cleveland Group 1 completes 1 run from Men’s Tee (Approximately 30 minutes)

o NY Masters completes 1 run of Open GS from Men’s Tee

o Immediately following: Course Reset & Inspection

o Cleveland Group 2 completes 1 run from Lady’s Tee (Approximately 30 minutes)

o Cleveland Group 1 completes 2 runs from Lady’s Tee (Approximately 45 Minutes)

o Immediately following their second run, NY Masters completes 2 runs of Regular GS from Lady’s Tee.

 This will likely be at least an hour after inspection

o Awards will be announced in conjunction with Cleveland awards ceremony. We will not have our usual raffle & pizza party

• Sunday

o 8:00 – 9:00 Registration in Yurt

o 9:00 – 9:45 Inspection

o 10:00: Cleveland Group 1 completes 2 runs (Approximately 45 minutes)

o Immediately following their second run (~10:45), NY Masters completes 2 runs of SL

o Awards will be announced in conjunction with Cleveland awards ceremony. We will not have our usual raffle & pizza party
