Happy Burmese New Year!

Please join us this Sunday (04/19/2015) at @6:00pm for an event to
raise awareness about child labor issue back in our motherland and
myME Project photo exhibition.

The myME project is moving along well back in Myanmar (Burma). Thanks
to all your continued support and encouragement, we're making
significant progress these days. We're currently providing
non-formal/vocational education to about 400 students from over 20
teashops and 5 monastic schools in Yangon and Mandalay. As you know
there are many children working back home due to poverty and lack of
access to education. According to a market research, there are over
20,000 teashops around Burma/Myanmar and Children are spending average
of 14 to 15 hours a day to support their families back in their
underprivileged villages and neighborhoods. We've committed, capable,
and passionate individuals working in both inside and outside of the
country, and also planning to implement new and innovative initiatives
to reach out to more children as we move forward...

As you know I left my Corporate America job back in September, 2014
and spent past 6 months in Myanmar (Burma) working on this project.
I'm now back in New York for a short stay that would be great to catch
up with everyone and share what I've experienced back on the
ground..:-) Food and wine will be served. I hope to see everyone on
Sunday! Please feel free to invite anyone who might be interested.
