I'm a complete newbie with programming who can only properly do some compiling 'stuffs' and minor change on codes,
and I'm thinking of integrating nxweb with hhvm by facebook via fastcgi.

my questions are as the following.

1. Do you have any plan on integrating fastcgi module (like python wsgi) with your source?
2. If fastcgi is enabled, will it be superior (speed and stability) than nginx with fastcgi approach?

Thanks again for making this wonderful and marvelous software :)

I am not a PHP man. I have not found much use for FastCGI before. So I am not planning for it right now.

I don't think so. nginx is far more functional and versatile sever than nxweb.

nxweb makes sense for C (cause it has clean API), Python (cause it's integrated) and can also be useful for HTTP-proxying to various application servers (eg, Java). nxweb also has some handy features not found in nginx, like templates engine (http://nxweb.org/blog-post/1439/nxweb-templates), image thumbnailing, etc.

Otherwise it would be wiser to go with nginx.

Thanks again for making this wonderful and marvelous software :)
