Wont resolve sites DNS all of a sudden

Been working fine for weeks. Can't get it to work now. A few sites still load like facebook. Updated to latest version, uninstalled and reinstalled. Reinstalled JAVA. HELP

I keep getting these error log files:

www.youtube.com’s server DNS address could not be found.

Some people says that they fixed the problem by increasing memory allocation. In your /nxfilter/startup.bat change 512 to 1024.

And then if you run it as a service chage 512 to 1024 in /nxfilter/instsvc.bat then reinstall it as a service. On CMD,

cd c:/nxfilter/bin

unstsvc.bat

instsvc.bat

Let me know if it works we might need to change the default value for memory allocation. And how many users do you have?

I have no idea. It started working last night just fine and is now back to this again.

It seems to be sub domains that are causing the issue.

I can get to google.com

I cant get to groups.google.com

I can get to yahoo.com

I can't get to mail.yahoo.com

So did you have to restart NxFilter? By your log message, it seems like you have a problem with your JVM. I am testing your x68 101 version but it's working fine so far. You might want to try another version of JVM. Maybe 64bit if you are on 64bit system.

We didn't see your postings for some reason. But 'crap software' is bit far. There are many people using it fine. If you have a problem with that you need to test it on another system first before you think it's not your system specific problem. Did you do that? I don't accept your saying that it's 'crap software'. You think all the other postings on our forum are fake ones?

 

I have seen so many people doing whatever they want and judging anything on their own but you are the worst so far. Thank you for saying 'crap software' and mocking all the other stupid people in our forum.

Maybe you are not the worst. You have been trying to make it working for several days and you didn't get the result you want. The frustration you had from the experience would have been very big. But that doesn't mean that you can say 'crap software' especially considering you were using it for several weeks fine. There might be some changes on your system without your noticing.

In the last reply to your problem, I linked some posting and I saw the other postings talking about the same kind log message as you get from Java. According to the people talking about the problem there are 2 possibilities. One is a Java bug. The other one is a faulty hardware mostly physical memory itself. We can't do anything about these problems. We also can't confirm it from our side. To confirm it, you have to run it on another system. I already ran it on mine with your 64bit Java. The same version on my 64bit Windows 10 system. There was no problem but I don't say that you would have the same result as we don't see how your system running.

And there's another workaround. We ship it on Windows package for people are not familiar with Unix/Linux administration. But in most cases, people prefer Linux over Windows when they use NxFilter on a bigger site. The Windows package is for home environment basically. However still I don't think it's a Windows problem or Java problem.
