Hello.

I would like to understand how the integration of Netfilter with Active Directory.
I am using PFSense 2.2.4 + 3.1.4 + NXFilter Windows Server 2012 R2
My first doubt is, as is the DNS settings?
In my DHCP I point the primary DNS to NXFilter?
I am concerned to put NXFilter as primary DNS and give problems to add computers to AD or even the spread of GPOs.

Thank you!

Thanks for the help, however I had already read the documentation and still was in doubt so I asked.
Can you give me an overview of how to get setup? For I have doubts still.

DNS> Setup
I point the DNS Server # 1 to upstream DNS my AD?

On client computers I know I should point the primary DNS to NXFilter, but he will be able to make queries in the internal domain?

I do some other DNS configuration for the two work together?

Then you read it again. Especially about MS DNS server and NxFilter. We bypass the internal AD domain to MS DNS. And if it's about your doubt you'd better to read the postings on our forum. There are many people talking about their AD integration. Even if it's about their problem they have at the moment why do they talk about AD integration if it's not working? Your doubt? I can't help you with that. The best thing is to try it by yourself.
