I don't know why but DNS over Https does not work on Windows but works on the linux hosts we have.

If it's working on Linux, it's more likely your system problem. On your Windows system, with a browser, test this URL,

If you can't access then check your firewal or network setup. If you can get a correct response then enable debugging on NxFilter and see what happens on CMD or in your log files.

Which DNS server do you use for your NxFilter system? It doesn't find anything with its DNS lookup.

I did manage to fix the issue by stopping the service entirely then uninstalling nxfilter and deleting the entire directory and then reinstalling which helped fixed the issue. Oddly enough I tried this many times before and it didn't work along with the basic troubleshooting like restarting the computer etc.

As for the dns servers I used cloudflare 1.1.1.1 & 1.0.0.1 and was using the secure DNS option on the main DNS page. Also note I had to switch to cloudlist in order for it to successfully get and utilize the dns server, and then switch back to the default one that I don't know how to spell but it's the one that starts with Jaha

After doing all these steps it did work just fine.

You can pronounce it like this,

You had a network problem. And by your browser capture image, it was probably about DNS resolution. DNS over HTTPS is using some URL to query its upstream server. So it needs to resolve it and then access it on HTTPS port.
