Position Requirements: The responsibilities of this position include:
administering and maintaining computer systems used by the University
Library's patrons and staff; providing high level technical knowledge
relative to personal computers, servers, network operating systems,
telecommunications systems and hardware; and planning and designing new
capabilities for the Library's networks and their connection to the
University's backbone network and the internet.
The preferred qualifications include: Bachelor's degree or the
equivalent combination of education, experience, and training from which
comparable skills can be acquired; at least five years of relevant work
experience; broad knowledge of communication concepts, protocols, and
standards, computers, telecommunication systems and hardware;
exceptional analytical and diagnostic skills; and excellent oral and
written communication skills.
Standard Hiring Range: $ 51,050 - 57,433 Percent Full Time: 100 Campus:
