Details:
Please join NWSFS for our May Nomination Social at the home of Yvonne and Eric Pawtowski on Saturday, May 24, 2025, in Lynnwood. The social will begin around 5 PM and continue until around 10 PM, or whenever we get tired.

NOTE: COVID vaccination will not be checked, but we do ask that anyone who may have it not attend. Side gate will be open so people can enter back yard directly. There will be plenty of seating outdoors. Masks are not required but are welcome.

The address: 7100 187th Place SW, Lynnwood, WA 98037
phone: (425) 771-1626
email (replace "at" with "@")

As usual, this is a potluck, so bring your contribution of a main dish (occasionally have enough), side dish (rarely have enough), munchies (usually have enough), or desert (often have enough, if there is such a thing as enough desert). Bring your own beverages if you want something particular, although some basic beverages will be available. NWSFS members are encouraged to attend, and non-members in the SF/Fannish community are welcome, as always. We hope to see you there.
There will be a grill running. The Pawtowskis will be cooking some extra sausages and dogs to share. Anyone who wants to bring stuff to grill is quite welcome.

The main television has an HDMI input and will likely be used to display photos of interest. If you have electronic photos to share, from Fannish events, the previous Norwescon, or whatever, please bring them.

Logistics: There is parking on the street near the house. Parking in the driveway is okay, you don't need to worry about blocking anyone in. Usually it's not hard to find parking. The neighborhood has a lot of hills, so be careful. There are three stairs leading to both entrances. The back door doesn't have stairs, but the path is too narrow for a wheelchair, and possibly more trouble than it's worth. There are no domesticated animals living there, pets are welcome, and Daniel will be bringing his dog over for the day. Smoking is outside only, please.

Please also note that this is also our annual Nomination Social where we accept nominations for the election of our three SFN/NWSFS officers (President, Vice President, Treasurer), which will take place by mail in late May and June. If you are interested in being nominated and cannot attend the Social, let us know (info AT nwsfs.com) or let someone who will be attending know that you are interested.

Thanks!
