...NWS Damage Survey for 06/25/2025 Tornado Event...

.Overview...Numerous tornadoes touched down in the late afternoon and 
early evening of June 25 2025. Many of these were short lived, although
one tornado near Yucatan Minnesota was on the ground for 13 minutes. The
tornadoes produced damage rated either EF-0 or EF-1.    

..Yucatan Minnesota Tornado...

Survey Summary:
Tornado was on the ground for about 6.5 miles and 13 minutes
through rural areas damaging trees along its path and one
outbuilding roof. The tornado was at EF1 intensity with maximum
winds to about 100 mph in Houston county.  The tornado did cause
a tornado debris signature on radar.

Survey Summary:
This brief tornado ripped the roof off a mobile home residence,
damaged nearby trees, knocked farming implements on their side,
and heavily damaged a barn on 363rd Ave. It weakened as it
continued northeast across a field for about 1 mile, causing
minor tree damage near the intersection of County Road 17 and
355th Ave where it dissipated.

Survey Summary:
This tornado developed very close to the Iowa-Minnesota state
line, causing damage to trees as it moved east northeast. Despite
causing damage to trees within proximity of structures, no
structural damage was observed.

.Update...Two brief tornadoes were confirmed in La Crosse County,
south of Barre Mills.

.Overview...Numerous tornadoes touched down in the late afternoon and 
early evening of June 25, 2025. Many of these were short lived, although
one tornado near Yucatan Minnesota was on the ground for 13 minutes. The
tornadoes produced damage rated either EF-0 or EF-1.

.La Crosse County #1...

This tornado developed near State Highway 33 several miles south
of Barre Mills, causing extensive tree damage to the Valleywood
Springs area before moving northeast, causing additional spotty
tree damage before dissipating near the intersection of County
Highways M and I. Valleywood Springs would be affected by a
second tornado around 10 minutes later. Each tornado had a
distinct circulation and debris signature on radar.

This short lived tornado developed east of La Crosse and affected
the Valleywood Springs neighborhood causing damage to trees as it
moved east. Valleywood Springs had already been affected by a
tornado around 10 minutes earlier. Each tornado had a distinct
circulation and debris signature on radar.
