Survey Summary:
An EF-1 tornado touched down just north of Hwy 72 about 2 miles
southwest of Sedgewickville. Several outbuildings or barns
suffered some degree of damage, ranging from the roof blown off
to walls blown over and one that was completely destroyed. Tree
damage ranged from numerous that were uprooted to lots of larger
limbs that were broken. The tornado continued east, crossing into
Cape Girardeau county, where it flipped over a livestock trailer.
It moved across State Hwy AA before eventually lifting about
1 mile west of Daisy.

Survey Summary:
A brief EF1 tornado touched down just east of I-55 along County
Road 510. A couple mobile homes suffered significant roof damage
along with one being shifted off its foundation. A couple
outbuildings also suffered some damage.

following categories:

...NWS Damage Survey for 03/15/2026 Tornado Event in Jackson County, Illinois...

.Overview...A bookend vortex with a history of wind damage and tornadoes
Sunday night appears to have produced two very brief tornadoes in Jackson 
County, Illinois. Many thanks to the Jackson County Emergency Management
Agency for thorough documentation that aided the survey.

Survey Summary:
A brief tornado moved across Reed Station road northeast of
Carbondale. A wooden fence was damaged and strewn upstream with
the storm. Several tree trunks were snapped up about 50 ft above
the ground with other tree damage noted.
