.Overview...The following is an initial summary of storm survey
work
today by NWS crews for the tornado damage in Northwest Houston. 
This information is preliminary, and is subject to further 
refinement with any new data that arrives. If modification to the
summary of these tornadoes is needed, an updated public 
information statement will be sent.

Update #1 - Small tweaks have been made to details, primarily the
peak estimated wind speeds for both tornadoes. Neither change
affected the rating of the tornadoes.

...NWS Damage Survey for 11/24/25 Tornado Event - Update #2...

Update...Additional aerial imagery of damage from the EF-2 tornado
in the Klein area shows a home with over half of the roof decking
removed. Because of this additional damage, we have increased the
estimated peak wind to be 125 mph. Additional analysis has also 
led to a maximum path width of 400 yards for this tornado. No 
changes have been made to the Riata Ranch EF-1 tornado with this 
update. This information remains preliminary, and is subject to 
further refinement with any new data that arrives. If modification
to the summary of these tornadoes is needed, an updated public 
information statement will be sent.
