The tornado moved east-northeast damaging the roofs of several homes, some severely, destroying outbuildings, snapping or uprooting numerous trees, and snapping power poles before it crossed into Tulsa County near W 81st Street S. In Tulsa County, the tornado damaged several more homes, uprooted numerous trees, snapped the trunks of some trees, and blew down power lines until it dissipated near Highway 75, north of W 78th Street S. The tornado produced a tornadic debris signature from the KINX WSR-88D. .MUSKOGEE OKLAHOMA TORNADO... Rating: EF1 Estimated Peak Wind: 100 to 110 mph Path Length /statute/: 14.3 miles Path Width /maximum/: 1000 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 04/14/2026 Start Time: 10:57 PM CDT Start Location: 1 NNE Summit / Muskogee County / OK Start Lat/Lon: 35.676 / -95.415 End Date: 04/14/2026 End Time: 11:13 PM CDT End Location: 4 NW Pumpkin Center / Muskogee County / OK End Lat/Lon: 35.756 / -95.187 Survey Summary: This tornado developed just east of Highway 69, northeast of Summit, where trees were uprooted, homes were damaged, and power poles were snapped. The tornado moved northeast across Highway 64, damaging numerous homes, snapping and uprooting trees, and snapping power poles. It then crossed Highway 351 and turned easterly along Hancock Street before crossing the Arkansas River and dissipating east of Highway 10. It moved northeast toward Park Hill, crossing Highway 82 and Murrel Road. The tornado uprooted numerous trees, damaged outbuildings, snapped numerous large tree limbs, and blew down power poles. A few trees were uprooted as it moved across Willis Road, then crossed the Illinois River, and dissipated after producing more tree damage on the E 785 Road. .CHRISTIE OKLAHOMA TORNADO... It moved northeast into Adair County and across rugged terrain. Trees were uprooted as it moved across the 4630 Road southwest of Christie, and the roof of a manufactured home was damaged. The tornado uprooted numerous trees and snapped numerous large tree limbs along Highway 62, with more trees uprooted along Cemetery Road and Highway 59, and along the 4750 Road before moving into Washington County, AR. It moved northeast across Highway 59 near Cincinnati, where numerous large tree limbs were snapped. Numerous large tree limbs were also snapped as it crossed Rennic Road and Ham Road before dissipating. .DUTCH MILLS ARKANSAS TORNADO... The tornado moved northeast uprooting trees along Piney Road and the 4765 Road, before crossing into Washington County, AR. The tornado crossed the Baron Fork River, and damaged outbuildings, uprooted trees, and snapped numerous large tree limbs along Salem Springs Road. It moved east into Osage County and across McCord, where numerous trees were uprooted, power poles were blown down, and homes and businesses were damaged. The tornado continued to move east, roughly paralleling the Arkansas River, and briefly back into Kay County, south of McFadden Cove. It uprooted and snapped numerous trees and damaged homes southeast of McFadden Cove after moving back into Osage County. The tornado moved east-northeast across Kaw Dam Road, Osage Cove Road, and Burbank Landing Road before dissipating over open terrain. The NWS Office in Norman has provided information about the beginning of this tornado in Kay County. .KAW LAKE OKLAHOMA TORNADO... Rating: EF1 Estimated Peak Wind: 85 to 95 mph Path Length /statute/: 0.3 miles Path Width /maximum/: 75 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 04/17/2026 Start Time: 07:12 PM CDT Start Location: 5 SW Kaw City / Kay County / OK Start Lat/Lon: 36.700 / -96.925 End Date: 04/17/2026 End Time: 07:13 PM CDT End Location: 5 SW Kaw City / Osage County / OK End Lat/Lon: 36.697 / -96.922 Survey Summary: This tornado crossed into Osage County from Kay County, after damaging boat docks at the marina. In Osage County, a few trees were uprooted south of Kaw Dam Road.
