An NWS Storm Damage Survey Team completed a survey of Clinton and Jackson Counties in eastern Iowa, where damage within those counties was confirmed to be from a single tornado. This was part of a long-lived thunderstorm that likely produced additional tornadoes prior to this one farther to the southwest. Additional work is being done to confirm these tornadoes and their attributes over the coming days. ..Welton to Preston Tornado...
