.Update...Added Yazoo County/Eagle Bend Road EF0 tornado. Added 
details for Madison Parish EF1 tornado.

.Overview...Two tornadoes have been confirmed from Saturday
night's storms, including one EF1 and one EF0. Additional surveys
are currently ongoing in Rankin County.


.Hunters Bend Tornado...

Survey Summary:
An EF-1 tornado touched down just south of the Hunters Bend area
and moved northeast through the community. Several large trees
were blown down across power lines and Hunters Bend Road near the
start, with continued tree damage through the forest areas to the
northeast. Trees were snapped and uprooted where the road turned
north. Additional damage to a mobile home and several barns and
outbuildings occurred at the east of of Dr. Thomason Road at the
Tensas River. A 12x24 foot hunting shed was completely destroyed
with debris blown north into the tree line. Local reports
indicated that the tornado continued east across Tensas River
bend into National Wildlife Refuge land with damage 200 yards
wide in that area.

Survey Summary:
A narrow, brief tornado touched down along Eagle Bend Road south
of Yazoo City where the top of a Pecan tree was downed onto a
home. Fortunately, the home sustained limited if any damage. The
tornado continued to move northeast, paralleling Eagle Bend Road
while staying slightly north of the roadway. Intermittent
vegetative damage was noted with a isolated tree fall as well.
The tornado remained at EF-0 intensity through its duration
before dissipating near Old Highway 3 where minor roofing tin
peeling was noted.

10 minutes. Numerous large and small tree branches were downed
along the path.

Update...The path of the Hunters Bend EF1 has been adjusted and 
extended northeastward based on newly available high resolution
satellite imagery.

Overview...Three tornadoes have been confirmed with storms from 
Saturday night into early Sunday morning, including one EF1 and two 
EF0s.
