Survey Summary:

The tornado began east of US Highway 167, southwest of Fordyce.
The tornado tracked northeast across several county roads as well
as state Hwy 274, Hwy 205, Hwy 8, Hwy 97 and Hwy 189. As it moved
across these areas it did extensive damage to pine trees as well
as some hardwood trees. A few outbuildings were damaged and some
minor roof damage was noted on a few residences. As the tornado
moved across Hwy 97 a few trees were knocked down onto the
roadway. A two vehicle accident occurred due to this, with no
reported injuries. The tornado ended around the Saline River.
