...NWS Damage Survey for April 11 and April 25 Tornado Events...

.Overview...Two brief tornadoes occurred in south central Nebraska
during April. The following is a summary of each event. The National
Weather Service would like to thank all those who provided 
information about both tornadoes. 

.Tornado #1 (Near Chester, NE)...

Path Length /statute/:  Brief Touchdown
Path Width /maximum/:   Undetermined

Injuries:               0

Survey Summary: This tornado was brief and caught on video. No 
damage was found or reported. A rating of EF-U was applied due
to the lack of damage indicators to make a windspeed estimation.

Survey Summary: This was a brief landspout tornado captured in 
photos and on video southwest of Bradshaw. No damage was
reported. A rating of EF-U was applied due to the lack of
damage indicators to make a windspeed estimation.

EF Scale: The Enhanced Fujita Scale classifies tornadoes into the
following categories:

EF0.....65 to 85 mph
EF1.....86 to 110 mph
EF2.....111 to 135 mph
EF3.....136 to 165 mph
EF4.....166 to 200 mph
EF5.....>200 mph
EFU.....Windspeed estimate not determined
