Survey Summary:
A remote NWS Storm Survey determined that an EF0 tornado touched
down in Habersham County near the Annandale Subdivision on the
afternoon of Wednesday, September 25. A few trees were downed along the
intermittent path and an outbuilding was destroyed at a sod farm.
Path length and width were estimated based on limited information
available due to extensive damage in the area post-Helene.

Path length and width were estimated based on limited information
available due to extensive damage in the area post-Helene.

afternoon of Wednesday, September 25. Several trees were downed and a
fishing shack was blown across the road. Path length and width
were estimated based on limited information available due to
extensive damage in the area post-Helene.

EF0.....65 to 85 mph
EF1.....86 to 110 mph
EF2.....111 to 135 mph
EF3.....136 to 165 mph
EF4.....166 to 200 mph
EF5.....>200 mph

The information in this statement is preliminary and subject to
change pending final review of the events and publication in
NWS Storm Data. We appreciate the assistance of Habersham, Rutherford, 
and Greenville County Emergency Management in sharing damage information
especially given the widespread impacts across the area due to Helene.
