...NWS Damage Survey for 5/6/26 Tornado Event - Update #1...

Additional damage surveys today determined the tornadoes previously 
surveyed as two separate EF3 tornadoes across Wilkinson, Adams, 
Franklin, Lincoln, and Lawrence counties were actually a single EF3 
tornado path over 69 miles long. Additonally, surveys confirmed an 
EF2 tornado path in Lamar County from north of Baxterville to north 
of Purvis. More details will be shared later this evening.
