Additional Locations Surveyed:

...Hammond, LA...
Scattered light wind damage was found east of downtown Hammond.
This was mostly very small branches with 2 larger uprooted or
snapped trees. There was no obvious sign of a tornado and if there
was a tornado that was at least 65 MPH, there would be more
widespread damage in an urban area.

...Walthall County, MS...
There is damage to the north of Walthall County which NWS Jackson
surveyed. It is likely a track will continue down into Walthall
but more analysis is needed.

Overall, many of these tracks may be adjusted or additional tracks
added as satellite data becomes avialable.

EF Scale: The Enhanced Fujita Scale classifies tornadoes into the
following categories:

EF0.....65 to 85 mph
EF1.....86 to 110 mph
EF2.....111 to 135 mph
EF3.....136 to 165 mph
EF4.....166 to 200 mph

.Update #2... 3 new tornadoes have been confirmed in Pike County,

End Lat/Lon: 31.2731 / -90.5101

Survey Summary:
A strong EF-1 tornado touched down south of Hwy 570 near Moak Rd
in Pike County, MS. This tornado rapidly strengthened and grew in
size as it tracked to the east-northeast causing destruction of a
wood frame farm outbuilding and increasingly significant treefall
as it crossed Kodiak Ln and Magnolia Pisgah Rd. While there was a
high proportion of treefall associated with this tornado in this
area, a significant portion was due to uprooted trees from soft
soils due to recent heavy rainfall. As such, maximum sustained
winds were estimated near 110 mph despite the heavy
deforestation. This level of heavy deforestation continued across
Hwy 570 to Dye Ln where tree damage rapidly became less
significant, and it's estimated that this tornado rapidly lifted
as it crossed Magee Rd. Exact track details are still in the
process of being finalized.

End Lat/Lon: 31.2942 / -90.4228

Survey Summary:
An EF-1 tornado with estimated winds near 105 mph touched down
near Johnston Chapel Rd. A broadly defined area of uprooted and
damaged trees was identified via high resolution satellite
imagery near the beginning of this path which continued east-
southeast across Old Brookhaven Rd and Interstate 55. The tornado
began to strengthen and increase in size with complex multi-
vortex behaviors evident according to the damage path present.
Numerous trees were snapped and uprooted along US Hwy 51,
Rollingwood Drive, and Johnston Station Rd. Additional tree
damage was surveyed near Lakeside Drive on Southwest Mississippi
Community College campus. The tornado continued east destroying a
cinderblock dugout at North Pike High School. More tree damage
was also identified on Barrett Drive and Jaguar Trail. The end
point of this tornado has not yet been finalized. The exact track
characteristics from this tornado are still under review and are
subject to change.

End Location: 2 WNW McComb / Pike County / MS
End Lat/Lon: 31.2574 / -90.4949

Survey Summary:
A subsequent EF-1 tornado rapidly developed along Hwy 570,
northwest of McComb, MS on the evening of March 11th. This
tornado damage path was distinctly different to the predecessor
tornado along Hwy 570 as most of the confluent damage was
directed southeast and east as the KHDC velocity signature
denoted the strong rotation center of this tornado diving
southeastward along the highway. This tornado uprooted several
trees, snapped the tops of tree trunks, tossed a golf cart
approximately 70 yards, and caused minor roof damage to a couple
homes as it tracked along the highway. Additional tree damage was
near Delaware Avenue where confluence of damage direction was
identified. These damage path characteristics are subject to

path from a private residence west of LA Hwy 1082 and Elderberry
Ln east-southeast to LA Hwy 1083 near Oalmann Rd.

Overall, many of these tracks may be adjusted or additional tracks
added as satellite data becomes available.

This level of heavy deforestation spanning
approximately 375 yards wide at peak width continued across Hwy
570 to Dye Ln where tree damage rapidly became less significant.
It's estimated that this tornado rapidly lifted as it crossed
Magee Rd.

End Lat/Lon: 31.2715 / -90.3876

Survey Summary:
An EF-1 tornado with peak estimated winds near 105 mph touched
down near Johnston Chapel Rd. A broadly defined area of uprooted
and damaged trees was identified via high resolution satellite
imagery near the beginning of this path which continued east-
southeast across Old Brookhaven Rd and Interstate 55. This damage
was corroborated by a storm report with pictures of numerous
uprooted trees near Chapel Dr. The tornado began to strengthen
and increase in size with complex multi-vortex behaviors evident
according to the damage path present after crossing I-55.
Scattered
pockets of wind damage were evident via ground survey across
Barnett Rd and L.D. White Rd, but the most cohesive damage points
representative of a tornado damage path were evident to the
southeast as the mutli-vortex tornado continued to produce
patches and swaths of tree damage on high resolution satellite
imagery near Hwy 570 and and River Ridge Rd. The tornado damage
path evidently became incoherent after crossing River Ridge Rd
and it's estimated the tornado lifted prior to reaching Hwy 44.

Additional tree damage was
near Delaware Avenue where confluence of damage direction was
identified. These damage path characteristics are subject to
change.

End Lat/Lon: 30.7944 / -90.4407

Survey Summary:
An EF-0 tornado with maximum sustained winds of 85 mph rapidly
developed along a line of thunderstorms, near Hwy 1047 and Deer
Creek Rd, near the Tangipahoa and St. Helena Parish border. The
crossed the parish line and into a solar farm where a weak
tornado debris signature became evident on KHDC. Only minor tree
damage was evident along this section of Interstate 55.
Additional tree damage including uproots and snapped tree tops
were evident between I-55 and Hwy 51 which was collocated with a
stronger tornado debris signature on KHDC. The tornado likely
peaked in strength and size in this area. Thereafter, the tornado
crossed the Tangipahoa River and began moving east-southeast
toward LA Hwy 10. The tornado caused mostly uprooted trees and
snapped large limbs off of trees along LA Hwy 10 before it
dissipated just east of LA 4054.

tracked southeastward through southern areas of Franklinton,
causing moderate roof damage to a Floral Shop and damaging a
business sign. As it crossed LA 16 it caused minor roof damage to
homes and an apartment building while also causing a couple trees
to fall on a home and shed. After the tornado crossed south of LA

southwest. This tornado caused minor tree damage along a defined
path from a private residence west of LA Hwy 1082 and Elderberry
Ln east-southeast to LA Hwy 1083 near Oalmann Rd.

There is damage to the north of Walthall County which NWS Jackson
surveyed. At this time, no track was brought down into Walthall
but it's possible with further analysis, it will be extended. If
so, it will be entered directly into NWS Storm Data.

Survey Summary:
An NWS storm survey team determined that an EF-1 tornado with
peak winds of 90 mph embedded in a line of storms touched down
along Highway 1 in far western Ascension Parish just after
midnight on February 15th. Here, the tornado mainly snapped large
branches and small tree trunks. The tornado continued eastward
causing minor tree damage as it crossed Hwy 405 and the
Mississippi River. More damage to large branches and tree tops
was observed along River Rd north of Darrow. The tornado
continued to move east-southeast over inaccessible areas until it
reached Ruffin Martinez Rd and Highway 22. More large branches
were snapped here as it continued moving to the east-southeast
towards Walter Hill Rd. The tornado then crossed the Mississippi
River a 2nd time and remained over either open fields or a
refinery. The tornado reached peak intensity as it approached
Highway 70 where it snapped a few tree trunks. The tornado then
continued over the marsh east of Highway 70 where it likely
lifted near the Ascension/St. James Parish line. This track
remains preliminary and additional changes could occur after
further review of high-resolution satellite imagery in the coming
weeks.

End Lat/Lon: 30.143 / -90.7546

Survey Summary:
An NWS Storm Survey team determined that an EF-1 tornado with
peak winds of 105 mph embedded in a line of storms touched down
just north of the Ascension/Assumption Parish line shortly after
midnight on February 15th. This tornado started by snapping large
branches and uprooting a tree on Te Nom Landry Rd and Highway
308 south. It continued moving east-northeast over open fields
until reaching the intersection of Highway 3089 and Highway 70.
Here, the tornado strengthened to EF-1 intensity where a power
pole and tree trunk were snapped. This tornado maintained
intensity as it continued moving to the east-northeast where it
snapped a series of powerlines off of Baxter Rd on the south side
of the CF Industries complex. The tornado then started to
intensify to peak intensity as it crossed into St. James Parish
while moving through mainly open fields before it hit a series of
powerlines in an open field, snapping 4 lines. It maintained
strength as it crossed another open field along Badger Rd before
snapping another series of powerlines along Highway 18. The
tornado appeared to weaken as it continued to move east-northeast
across the Mississippi River. When the tornado reached Highway
3125, it partially snapped/bent another powerline. The tornado
then moved into the marsh north of Highway 3025 before reaching
Highway 61 where it uprooted another tree. The last damage point
for this tornado is along I-10 where it snapped more large
branches. This track remains preliminary and additional changes
could occur after further review of high-resolution satellite
imagery in the coming weeks.

An NWS storm survey team confirmed an EF-0 with peak winds of
85 mph touched down on the southern side of Thibodaux at 12:45am
on February 15th. An trailer RV was partially flipped off of
Talbot Ave as the tornado moved to the east-southeast. The
tornado then reach peak strength as it impacted Tabernacle
Pentecostal Church. Here, the tornado lifted a significant
portion of the roof of the church, displacing it to the east. The
wood framing of the roofing had evidence of rotting, so the lower
bound for that damage was used in this case. The tornado slightly
weakened as it moved east-southeast where minimal damage was
found until it reached Percy Brown Rd where multiple large
branches were snapped along it. The tornado remained very weak as
it continued to the east-southeast where the next notable damage
came on Crossing North St where a backyard awning was uplifted.
As the tornado moved to the east-northeast, vegetation damage was
noted on high-resolution imagery north of Rousseau where the
tornado appeared to have lifted though additional analysis will
be needed to determine the end point over inaccessible areas.
This track remains preliminary and additional changes could occur
after further review of high-resolution satellite imagery in the
coming weeks.

southwest and central Washington Parish, south of Franklinton,
LA. This tornado began near Sam Smith Rd where it snapped a
rotted large hardwood tree. Additional tree debris and minor
damage to skirting of a manufactured home was noted nearby. The
tornado continued east-northeast where more abundant tree damage
was identified including snaps of smaller tree trunks and
branches along Daniels Rd, west of LA Hwy 25. This was where the
tornado appeared to be at its strongest and widest, spanning
about 75 yards wide. The tornado continued across the Bogue
Chitto River, and additional minor tree damage was found by the
survey team along LA Hwy 16, Tullos Rd, and Gene Williams Rd.
