Rating: EF1 Estimated Peak Wind: 100 mph Path Length /statute/: 4.46 miles Path Width /maximum/: 50 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 12/28/2025 Start Time: 01:36 PM CDT Start Location: 3 ENE Cynthiana / Gibson County / IN Start Lat/Lon: 38.1974 / -87.6567 End Date: 12/28/2025 End Time: 01:41 PM CDT End Location: Haubstadt / Gibson County / IN End Lat/Lon: 38.1976 / -87.5759 Survey Summary: A narrow tornado began about 5 miles west of Haubstadt along Highway 68 and tracked nearly due east, ending on the southern edge of Haubstadt. Several barns were damaged, with one losing most of its roof and a section of another barn was completely destroyed. A few homes lost shingles from their roof. A few power lines and trees also sustained damage along the tornado path. Thanks to Gibson and Vanderburgh County Emergency Management Agencies for assistance/drone flights for the survey. && EF Scale: The Enhanced Fujita Scale classifies tornadoes into the following categories: EF0.....65 to 85 mph EF1.....86 to 110 mph EF2.....111 to 135 mph EF3.....136 to 165 mph EF4.....166 to 200 mph EF5.....>200 mph NOTE: The information in this statement is preliminary and subject to change pending final review of the event and publication in NWS Storm Data. $$ JGG
