Three tornadoes have been confirmed from this event, with two in Shelby County and one in Auglaize County. .North of Anna / South of Botkins... Rating: EF0 Estimated Peak Wind: 80 mph Path Length /statute/: 1.9 miles Path Width /maximum/: 60 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 03/11/2026 Start Time: 10:17 AM EDT Start Location: 2 WNW Anna / Shelby County / OH Start Lat/Lon: 40.4139 / -84.2007 End Date: 03/11/2026 End Time: 10:20 AM EDT End Location: 2 N Anna / Shelby County / OH End Lat/Lon: 40.4269 / -84.1704 Survey Summary: The National Weather Service has confirmed an EF-0 tornado north of Anna / south of Botkins in Shelby County, Ohio. This tornado occurred during the morning hours on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. The first evidence of tornadic damage from this tornado was surveyed on Wenger Road. Two barns on one property on Wenger Road were destroyed. The debris from the barns was scattered in multiple directions, providing evidence of a tornadic circulation. Numerous trees were also uprooted or snapped, and a residence had minor roof damage. Winds at this location were estimated to be around 80 mph. To the east of Wenger Road, additional damage was noted on Amsterdam Road. A roof was lifted off a barn, and several trees were uprooted. On County Road 25 A, more trees were uprooted and a garage was damaged. It appears this particular tornado ended near or just west of I-75. The tornadic damage lines up with a weak circulation observed on NWS and FAA radar. Rating: EF0 Estimated Peak Wind: 80 mph Path Length /statute/: 3.0 miles Path Width /maximum/: 50 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 03/11/2026 Start Time: 10:18 AM EDT Start Location: 1 NW Anna / Shelby County / OH Start Lat/Lon: 40.4089 / -84.1875 End Date: 03/11/2026 End Time: 10:22 AM EDT End Location: 3 NE Anna / Shelby County / OH End Lat/Lon: 40.4233 / -84.1336 Survey Summary: The National Weather Service has confirmed a tornado just north of Anna, Ohio, on the morning of March 11, 2026. This tornado overturned an RV and damaged siding on a pair of properties on Wells Road west of County Road 25A, then downed a pair of trees near County Road 25A. It appears the tornado then proceeded to cross Interstate 75, where two semi trailers were blown over. Further east, the circulation crossed Highland Kies Road where a tree was blown down, a shed was destroyed, and shingles were blown off a residence and garage. Then, after crossing a field, the tornado destroyed a large outbuilding on Sidney Freyburg Rd south of Amsterdam Road. Debris from this outbuilding was scattered broadly around the property and also into the field east of Sidney Freyburg Road before the tornado ended. The tornado is being rated an EF0 with a maximum estimated wind speed of 80 MPH. Rating: EF0 Estimated Peak Wind: 85 mph Path Length /statute/: 0.57 miles Path Width /maximum/: 40 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 03/11/2026 Start Time: 10:22 AM EDT Start Location: 3 S Uniopolis / Auglaize County / OH Start Lat/Lon: 40.5557 / -84.0988 End Date: 03/11/2026 End Time: 10:23 AM EDT End Location: 3 S Uniopolis / Auglaize County / OH End Lat/Lon: 40.5591 / -84.089 Survey Summary: The National Weather Service has confirmed an EF0 tornado near St Johns in Auglaize County, Ohio. This tornado impacted a couple of properties on US Route 33 just west of St Johns. At least three outbuildings sustained heavy damage. Debris was carried over a quarter mile to the northeast, with some debris deposited in a stand of trees west of State Route 65, although no additional damage was noted in the trees.
