...Damage Survey Underway for the April 18, 2026 Severe Event...

An NWS survey of damage in St Joseph County, Indiana was
completed today. The 2 areas of focus were in the town of Lydick
as well as north of the South Bend Regional Airport, in portions
of German Township. 

Despite the survey, some additional information and research is
needed for these areas. We hope to have our findings sometime
Monday or Tuesday. If you have any damage information to share
between Lydick and the MI State line (possibly into portions of SE
Berrien or SW Cass county), please share your pictures and
location via our webmaster account at
nws.north...@noaa.gov. If you have already submitted
information, you do not need to send it again.
