Start Lat/Lon:          38.91, -89.99

End Date:               March 11, 2026
End Time:               3:52 AM
End Location:           Midway, IL.
End Lat/Lon:            38.93, -89.97

A storm survey team confirmed that a brief tornado moved through 
the communities of Moro and Midway, IL early in the morning of 
March 11, 2026. This tornado produced wind damage indicative of 
maximum wind speeds of approximately 110 miles per hour. Damage to
trees, homes, and grain bins was observed. One injury was also 
reported.

following categories:

EF0.....65 to 85 mph
EF1.....86 to 110 mph
EF2.....111 to 135 mph
EF3.....136 to 165 mph

End Lat/Lon:            38.34 / -89.73

Survey teams confirmed that a brief tornado moved through
southern St. Clair county, IL early on the morning of March 11, 
impacting primarily outbuildings and trees in a rural portion of 
the county. Observed damage was indicative of maximum wind speeds 
of approximately 94 miles per hour, resulting in a rating of EF-1.

A brief tornado moved through Grafton, IL early the morning of
March 11th, and produced significant roof damage to a local
restaurant, and other miscellaneous damage to a single-story hotel
and nearby residence. Numerous trees were also damaged. Analysis
of damage suggests maximum wind speeds of approximately 98 miles
per hour.
