...NWS Damage Survey for 05/26/26 Tornado Event...

The National Weather Service conducted a damage survey of a line
of thunderstorms that impacted portions of southern Guadalupe 
County during the late night hours of May 26th. The survey team 
found damage that supported the existence of a short-lived EF-1
tornado. A tornado debris signature was seen on radar just north 
of where the most extensive damage was surveyed.

End Lat/Lon:            29.5029 / -98.0508

Survey Summary:
The tornado may have started just east of Linne Road. The most
significant damage occurred north of Kunde Road, with widespread
tree damage surveyed. The circulation continued east where more
tree damage was noted. The tornado may have traveled further 
southeast but this was inconclusive based on lack of access to 
property.

EF Scale: The Enhanced Fujita Scale classifies tornadoes into the
following categories:

EF0.....65 to 85 mph
EF1.....86 to 110 mph
EF2.....111 to 135 mph
EF3.....136 to 165 mph
EF4.....166 to 200 mph
EF5.....>200 mph
