The National Weather Service conducted a damage survey of a line of thunderstorms that impacted portions of southern Guadalupe County during the late night hours of May 26th. The survey team found damage that supported the existence of a short-lived EF-1 tornado. The most significant damage occurred north of Kunde Road, with widespread tree damage surveyed. The circulation continued east where more tree damage was noted.
