Rating: EF2 Estimated Peak Wind: 115 mph Path Length /statute/: 4.67 miles Path Width /maximum/: 700 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 05/06/2026 Start Time: 06:41 PM CDT Start Location: 6 ENE Dolorosa / Wilkinson County / MS Start Lat/Lon: 31.3399 / -91.2644 End Date: 05/06/2026 End Time: 06:47 PM CDT End Location: 9 WNW Crosby / Adams County / MS End Lat/Lon: 31.3547 / -91.1877 Survey Summary: A tornado touched down west of the intersection of Old Highway 61 Perry Town Rd, near Ireland, MS. This tornado does connect into Jackson's area and moves through Adams and Franklin Counties before continuing northeast. This is a long track EF3 tornado but the part in Wilkinson is rated EF2 based on large swatches of snapped trees. The majority of the damage is to trees but multiple larger sheds and double wides received damage or destroyed. It's unlikely this is where the track actually started but we are waiting for additional drone and satellite data. It's also possible the track changes as we start to discern tornado damage from straight line wind damage. This info will all be updated as new data arrives. .Enon, MS Tornado...
