...NWS Damage Survey for 04/17/2026 Olivet tornado...

Initial storm damage assessment.

A short-lived tornado quickly developed southwest of Olivet,
Kansas and produced damage consistent with a low-end EF-1
tornado. Several outbuildings were badly damaged with metal
siding, framing and roofing debris lofted several hundred 
yards to the northeast of Olivet.
