Survey Summary:
An EF-1 tornado began west of Mound Hill Road in northwestern Lee
County with drone imagery showing swirl marks in a field between
Kilgore Road and Paris Road. The tornado crossed Mound Hill Road,
downing power poles and impacting a property on the east side of
the road. The tornado reached its peak intensity here, destroying
multiple outbuildings and snapping several trees at this property.
The tornado left additional swirl marks in a field to the
northeast of the property before causing damage to trees, a
residence, and a metal outbuilding along and just south of Lenox
Road.

As the tornado reached Timber Creek Road, it caused damage to a
barn, at least one power pole, and several trees. On the north
side of the road, the tornado pushed an old barn off of its
foundation into a grain leg, causing the grain leg to collapse. A
concrete silo was also toppled at the same location. The tornado
then continued northeastward, causing tree and roof damage at a
property along Peek Home Road, then damaging an outbuilding, a
house, and more trees at a property at Penrose Road and Swarts
Road. The tornado produced its last instance of damage at the Hey
Tree Service facility along U.S. Route 52/State Route 26
southeast of Woosung before dissipating prior to reaching the Ogle
County line. Straight-line wind damage was also observed to the
south and east of the tornado's track.

End Lat/Lon: 41.949 / -89.407

Survey Summary:
A brief tornado with a path length of less than one mile occurred
along Ridge Road between Grand Detour and Oregon in southern Ogle
County. The tornado caused damage to a few buildings and trees
between Penn Corner Road and Henry Road. One house had
approximately two-thirds of its roof removed by the tornado. This
was the most significant damage that was caused by the tornado,
allowing it to be assigned a high-end EF-1 rating.

End Lat/Lon: 42.0753 / -89.0711

Survey Summary:
An EF-0 tornado began one mile west-southwest of the community of
Holcomb near Church Road, where it damaged trees and peeled part
of a sheet metal roof off of a barn. The tornado tracked east-
northeastward across open fields before impacting Holcomb. In
Holcomb, several trees were uprooted, snapped, or lost branches
and limbs; a church had its roof and windows damaged; a few houses
suffered minor roofing and fascia damage; and a barn was
destroyed. A grain leg also collapsed, blocking the railroad
tracks on the east side of the community. The tornado then
continued east-northeastward for a little over one mile longer,
impacting a property along State Route 251 between Big Mound Road
and Holcomb Road before dissipating. Sporadic straight-line wind

Survey Summary:
A high-end EF-1 tornado began near the intersection of Meridian
Road and Favor Road southeast of Harrison. Video footage from
storm chasers documented the tornado growing in size and intensity
as it tracked east-northeastward across Favor Road before
impacting two farmsteads, causing significant damage to a few
outbuildings and snapping and uprooting multiple trees. Additional
storm chaser footage showed the tornado intensifying again as it
tracked northeastward across Gummow Road and then reaching peak
intensity as it impacted a property along Freeport Road. At this
property, the majority of the roof of a two-story house was
removed, several trees were snapped, and an old barn was
destroyed. Storm chaser footage then captured the tornado making a
sharp turn back southward and crossing Freeport Road once again
before roping out and eventually dissipating in an open field near
Owen Center Road.

End Lat/Lon: 42.4019 / -88.9413

Survey Summary:
An EF-1 tornado began near the intersection of Freeport Road and
Bates Road southeast of Harrison, initially downing several tree
branches at and near a small cemetery. The tornado produced
additional tree damage as it tracked eastward along Roscoe Road
before entering the west side of Roscoe and reaching its peak
intensity as it tracked through the Hawks Point, Crystal Hills,
and Oxford Commons subdivisions. There, multiple homes sustained
damage to roofs, siding, and fascia. Several garage doors were
blown in, resulting in damage to garage walls. Numerous trees were
also uprooted or damaged in these subdivisions. The tornado then
continued eastward, knocking down several power poles along
Gleasman Road and damaging a nearby farm outbuilding before
crossing the Rock River. East of the Rock River, the tornado
continued to cause extensive tree damage. Multiple additional
houses sustained roof and fascia damage from the tornado as well.
The tornado appeared to dissipate just as it reached the
Winnebago-Boone county line. Extensive straight-line wind damage
was also observed in close proximity to the tornadic circulation,
particularly on its southern flank. Of interesting note, the path
of this tornado crossed over the path of the Harrison tornado
which occurred around two hours prior.

property, the majority of the roof of a two-story house was
removed, several trees were snapped, and an old barn was
