Survey Summary:
The National Weather Service surveyed damage along with Butler
County Emergency Management along Brownsville Rd. A tornado
developed and hit a home in the 7700 block of Brownsville Rd,
lifting up both the front porch and the carport roof that were
attached to the house. The pillars under the front porch shifted
slightly, but the pillars under the carport fell over, allowing
the roof to land on two cars parked there. The resident was
sitting on his front porch just before the tornado hit and noticed
it got hotter and more humid ahead of the rain and wind. He was
just able to get inside before it hit.

The tornado then skipped over mostly open fields before hitting a
couple of trees, knocking down branches, and then a barn in the 
9600 block. The sides of this barn were well anchored to the 
ground, but the roof was able to peel off. Portions of this roof 
were strewn east southeast up to 0.4 miles downstream. Residents
in this area noted how calm conditions were just before the
tornado hit and then it got calm again. 

The tornado then turned southeastward where it heavily damaged a 
barn and snapped a large cedar tree at the intersection of Jetson 
Rd and Brownsville Rd. No other damage was noted downstream of 
this location.

Emergency Management for collecting pictures and damage points and
escorting us to several residences along the path.
