Rails freelancer wanted for a month or more, start soon, Manchester base

Hi everyone,

Hedtek is a small software house that tends to specialise in work in the Rails ecosystem. 

We need to employ a Rails freelancer for around a month, soonest start Mon 8 July 2013 (can start later) with the ability to work in Manchester at least a few days a week.

The project concerned is to implement a social layer on top of a product-oriented site. This social layer will use information from the site, augmented with data retrieved from Facebook APIs. The UI design work is done, to the extent of the client having delivered HTML and CSS mockups of pages.

To help us deliver in a relatively short time, we are looking for an intermediate to advance level Rails dev to work on the project together with our own devs.

• Intermediate level skills include the ability to work as a self-motivated team member, polished TDD and BDD skills, and ability to rapidly understand and use APIs. 
  
  
• Advanced level skills include being able to break Rials conventions to good effect when needed, with Rails ability at tech lead level (though we have that role filled in this project).
