Charlie, called and she was kind enough to donate them to our group.  Thought:  my craft guild meets in a small church who allows us to keep a locked cupboard full of (expensive) books and patterns .  Would OLOL perhaps let us do the same? I know we discussed this a year or two ago as a group, with no action.  People could donate copies of books they are 1) done with  2) want to memorialize somebody by or 3) the club would invest in books and videos for training.  Would need a volunteer to keep the keys and sign out the materials. Feedback?

We currently also have magazines donated that date back into 1800's American Bee Journals.  We used them for pics and articles for the Farm Show exhibits.  It would be good to house them better.   I don't have a solution.
