Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer
Duration: 6-12+ months. High possibility of extension
Location: Remote. Client is in Waltham, MA
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer for a multinational electricity and gas utility client located in Waltham, MA. The hired contracted employee will perform this role’s duties remotely.
Candidates should have strong experience with technical Salesforce development of Marketing Cloud solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWCs), Visual Force, JavaScript, and a middleware tool (MuleSoft is preferred).
Technical Experience
- Expertise in Apex. Extensive experience developing custom Apex Classes, Triggers and Salesforce.com APIs
- Salesforce Lightning Web Component experience
- Experience with interacting with external systems via Salesforce callouts.
- Experience developing applications that interact with Salesforce via the SOAP or REST APIs.
- Experience leading technical requirements gathering and building solutions from those requirements
- Understanding of multiple environments, patterns and languages, especially including XML, HTML, SQL, JavaScript, JSON, and CSS etc.
- Proficiency with development tooling such as Force.com IDE, Visual Studio Code.
- Significant experience in practicing Agile methodologies, including Scrum and continuous integration environments
- Developer tool experience (Git, Jenkins, Maven etc.)
- Marketing Cloud
- Implement email marketing campaigns
- Journey Builder
- Email Studio
- Mobile Studio
- Interaction Studio
- Knowledge of automating email campaigns
- Strong programming
background
- Custom JavaScript

- Scripting between Mulesoft and the platform
- Mulesoft (would consider
experience in other middleware layers as long as the person has API consumption)
